Jenny Belforte is by far the best realtor I have had the opportunity to work with and the exact right person to help my family sell our mother’s home. As power of attorney and trustee for my mother’s estate, I had the difficult job of selling her home to pay for her memory care. I was very fortunate to find Jenny, she came with the highest recommendation from one of my most trusted friends. Living out of state, I’ve never had to sell a home in a remote manner before, but Jenny made it easy. First, Jenny worked with title to make sure all the needed trust and power of attorney paperwork was in order, and that title would insure this sale. Next, Jenny tapped her network of vetted contractors who completed the work on my mom’s home and even vetted the estate sales companies to best address my mother’s collection of antiques. Jenny is collaborative and facilitated the rehab and fixing of my mother’s home. She helped me determine the extent to which we would have repairs performed on this older home to make it the most marketable within my available budget, creating an online project plan where I could check on progress and what was still to be done. Jenny had many ideas to assist in modernizing the home yet enhancing its period character. Jenny marketed the home tirelessly, bringing an amazing level of traffic through the home during one weekend of open houses (80 groups in 8 hours) and bringing multiple offers beyond expectations after the first weekend. Jenny walked me through the various offers and we had a clean sale within a few weeks. Jenny even hosted a neighbor open house one morning so my mother could see her home as it was renovated and completed, and she could see her friends and neighbors one last time. My mom is thrilled with the proceeds of the home and that it is going to a nice young family, and we are thrilled that we have the funds for my mother’s care. I put my faith in Jenny and she exceeded my expectations; I’m certain she can do so for anyone who is fortunate enough to choose to work with her.
